    Winners for Carolina Country Music Awards
    Carolina Country radio stations recognize local musicians
     
    MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. (January 28, 2021) – Winners have been announced for thirteen categories for the 2021 Carolina Country Music Awards (CCMAs). 
    The “Entertainer of the Year” will be determined by listeners to 93.9 WMIR in Myrtle Beach, 106.3 WYAY in Wilmington, 93.7 WMIR in Georgetown/Charleston, and 100.1 WFAY in Fayetteville.  Remaining categories are selected by a panel of judges from the music and broadcasting industry and announced in January.  Winners are as follows:

    A production of the Carolina Country Music Association, the Carolina Country Music Awards is an annual event open to performers who grew up in or now reside in North Carolina or South Carolina.  The show is typically held at the House of Blues in North Myrtle Beach, but was held in a “virtual” manner in January 2021 due to the pandemic.  The show’s Executive Producer is Sweet Tea, who is also the afternoon DJ on Carolina Country (106.3 WYAY in Wilmington, 100.1 WFAY in Fayetteville, 93.9 WMIR in Myrtle Beach, 93.7 WMIR in Georgetown/Charleston).
