    Pursuant to N.C.G.S. 143-131, sealed proposals will be received by the Fayetteville Public Works Commission, Fayetteville, North Carolina, until 5:00 p.m., Friday, February 24, 2017, in the PWC Procurement Office, 1 st floor, PWC Administration Building, 955 Old Wilmington Road, Fayetteville, North Carolina, for the following:

    WATER MAIN REPLACEMENT FROM ROBESON STREET TO WINSLOW STREET

    This project consists of installation of approximately 670 linear feet of twelve (12) inch water main along an existing easement between Robeson Street and Winslow Street, including approximately 150 linear feet of main and casing installed by jack and bore to cross under railroad tracks; testing and connection to the existing water system; abandonment of the existing ten (10) inch water main; and all other necessary items to complete the work as described and shown on the approved construction plans.

    A mandatory pre-bid conference will be held at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, February 14, 2017 in Conference Room #107, PWC Administration Building, 955 Old Wilmington Road, Fayetteville, North Carolina. Specifications and bid documents may be obtained in the PWC Procurement Office, 1 st floor, PWC Administration Building, 955 Old Wilmington Road, Fayetteville, North Carolina, between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, or by e-mail request to Gwendolyn Baker at gwendolyn.baker@faypwc.com. Fayetteville Public Works Commission reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive all informalities concerning bid, or award bid to the lowest responsive, responsible bidder or bidders, taking into consideration quality, performance and the time specified in the proposal for the performance of the contract.
