Fiveash has served numerous Chambers across the country including Lexington KY, Branson MO, Chillicothe MO, and South Windsor CT where she also served as the Economic Developer for the Town of South Windsor. Holding positions from CEO to Executive Vice President/COO and directly responsible for 7-million-dollar budget with matching grants program. Additionally, provided consulting assistance to the Central Kentucky Chambers of Richmond, Liberty, Danville, Lincoln County, and Woodford County, and CT River Valley Chamber.

Chair of the Chamber’s Board Brian Pearce, said, “We had many strong candidates from throughout the country.  Sharon Fiveash was the ideal choice. From being the EVP of the Chamber in Branson MO to the Economic Developer while running the Chamber in CT. She brings more than 30+ years of diverse business experience: combined with experience in marketing, sales, fundraising, economic development and lobbying make Fiveash uniquely positioned to represent every stakeholder in Fayetteville.  We are pleased to welcome Shari to Fayetteville NC and feel that her leadership and proven track record will complement the Chamber’s staff and keep the organization on a path of success and ever-increasing achievements.”

Shari was born in Miami FL but spent most of her younger years in Kansas City Missouri and later in Columbia, where she is a graduate of the University Missouri. She and her husband Randy, within their blended family, have five children, spread from California to New Jersey and points in between, and two beautiful granddaughters.
