DOWNTOWN FAYETTEVILLE CANDLELIGHT LOFT TOUR HELD DECEMBER 6, 2018Fayetteville, NC – The Cool Spring Downtown District is offering its annual peek into the homes of downtown residents. The Downtown Fayetteville Candlelight Loft Tour is set for Thursday, December 6, 2018 from 6 – 9 p.m. The 2018 Loft Tour features 16 homes from century-old, walk-up loft apartments to the newer construction of Park View so that attendees can experience what makes living and working in Downtown Fayetteville unique.
The loft tour is self-paced and tour patrons can move between stops at their leisure. Majestic Mobility will be providing shuttle service from the CSDD office (222 Hay St.) up to Park View during the Loft Tour. Up at Park View, Coldwell Banker Advantage will be hosting refreshments, representatives from The Prince Charles will have information on the new commercial and residential spaces under construction and The Fayetteville Woodpeckers will have merchandise available for purchase and updates on the progress of the stadium.
Shopping, food, arts and entertainment will be available Downtown as you stroll the streets between loft visits. Performers from the Cool Spring Downtown District’s Busker Program will be out sharing their talents with visitors, and The Wine Café will have jazz performances on their patio. As you cross from Hay Street to Person Street, you will want to stop at The Market House, which will be open for a quick refresher on Fayetteville’s rich history.
Tickets for the Loft Tour can be purchased for $10 at: the Cool Spring Downtown District office at 222 Hay St., at The Pilgrim Gift Shop in Westwood Shopping Center, and at the following Downtown businesses: Rude Awakening coffee house, City Center Gallery and Books, The Shops at 123 Hay Street, Pressed - A Creative Space, Kinder Koalas, The Wine Café, The Coffee Cup, The Door Belle, The Hemp Farmacy, and A Bit of Carolina. Check-in for the event map and tour wristband will be at the Cool Spring Downtown District office, 222 Hay St., any time between 9 a.m. - 7 p.m. the day of the event. Staff and volunteers will be available to answer questions and provide directional assistance.
