    The NC Chamber team is thrilled to open registration for its second annual Women > A Force in Business event, presented by Dell Technologies. The event will be held at the Raleigh Convention Center on September 21.

    You are receiving this message because you are a member of the NC Chamber. Today, registration is open only to members, giving you a chance to secure your seat before tickets sell out. Last year’s event sold out in a mere three weeks, so it’s important to register early to guarantee your spot.

    What’s New this Year at Women > A Force in Business?

    • Location: This year’s event will be held at the Raleigh Convention Center, which has plenty of space to accommodate our expected audience of 750-1,000 professional women from across North Carolina.
       
    • Opening Keynote Lineup: The first three speakers of the day will present quick 15-minute learning sessions, with opportunities for follow-up in breakout sessions later in the day.
      • The Business of Story: Hillary Rea, Founder, Tell Me A Story
      • Unconscious Bias + Women in STEM: Impact and Solutions: Dr. Jenna Carpenter, Dean, School of Engineering, Campbell University
      • Leadership Lessons: Tara Jaye Frank
         
    • Keynote Speaker: We are happy to announce that this year’s keynote speaker is Vernice “FlyGirl” Armour, America’s first African-American female combat pilot.
       
    • Breakout Sessions: Attendees will have the opportunity to attend two breakout sessions during the event. A sampling of topics:
      • The Cross-Generational Workplace
      • Speak Up!
      • Leading When You’re not in Charge
      • Emotional Intelligence: The Art of Female Leadership
      • How to Say “No”; When to Say “Yes”
      • And more!
         
    • Exhibit Hall: 30 exhibitors will be on hand, offering education and training in the areas of health & wellness, continuing education, volunteer opportunities and more.
       
    • Power Hour Networking Reception: This year’s reception will take place in the Exhibit Hall at the close of the event, allowing attendees to comfortably network at their leisure.
