Cohen Military Family Clinic at Cape Fear Valley will be hosting Pull for Prevention, a community event to bring awareness to suicide prevention and mental health.
Pull for Prevention will be held at Fort Bragg Harley-Davidson, and will feature live music, 35+ organizations providing information related to suicide prevention, games and activities for children, free food, and more! The event is free, open to the public, and family-friendly. The name of the event comes from the main attraction- participants will have the opportunity to put on a harness and pull a truck across Fort Bragg Harley-Davidson's parking lot. After the event, there will be a suicide awareness bike run leaving from Fort Bragg Harley-Davidson.
The event will feature a kid's corner with a large selection of free games, activities and a bouncy house provided by the Rick Herrema Foundation and Bravery Kids Gym. Supervision will be provided by volunteer staff members for children of all ages so their parents can participate in the truck pulling challenge and other attractions not available for children.
